Decent product, slow support

I picked up the Countertop Refinishing Kit. The Liquid Wood went on well and changed the look of my worn counter for the better. The instructions were helpful for the most part. I had a question about drying time because of my humid climate and emailed customer service; it took them almost three days to respond, which felt a bit long. The product itself is good value for money, but I wish support was a little quicker.

Love my new dresser!

Good product, minor issues

I ordered the Cabinet Refinishing Kit for my kitchen project. The ordering process was smooth on the website, and I appreciated the clear product descriptions. Delivery took about 7 days to get to my place in Arizona, which was a little longer than I hoped, but the items arrived well-packaged. The Liquid Wood and Polyurethane Top Coat worked as advertised, giving my old cabinets a decent new look without all the sanding. I found the instructions pretty easy to follow. I haven't returned anything personally, but my friend did. As long as it's unopened and you do it within a certain timeframe (I think 30 days?), it should be fine. You probably gotta pay for shipping though.

It's not like, solid wood, but it has wood fibers in it. So it kinda feels like wood once it's dry and everything. Definitely not just paint.

It's got recycled wood fibers in the coating, so it's as close to real wood as you can get without actually gluing on veneer. It's cool stuff, feels legit.

Is the stuff safe to use indoors? Like, does it have a super strong smell that'll air out my whole house?

It's pretty low VOC, so it's definitely safer than some other paints. There's a smell, but it's not terrible and airs out pretty quick. I used it in my kitchen with the windows open.

They say it's eco-friendly and low VOC, so yeah, safe for indoor use. I just open a window and put a fan on, and it's fine.

Most online stores, including this one, only let you use one promo code at checkout. It's rare to find a place that lets you stack 'em unless it's an automatic bundle discount that applies on top of a code, but even then it's usually just one code.

Afaik, it's usually touch dry in an hour or two, but you gotta wait longer for it to fully cure before like, putting stuff on it or really messing with it. Check the can for exact times, but I usually waited overnight between coats.

It dries pretty fast to the touch, like 1-2 hours. But full cure, I'd give it 24-48 hours depending on how thick you put it on and the humidity.

Nope, you don't! I used it on an old dresser, just cleaned it really well. The finish came out awesome, no sanding needed.

Yeah, that's their whole thing. I've done a few pieces, it sticks to pretty much anything. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry.
